The package includes premium brass cleats and shims, offering a release angle of 15° to 20°. It weighs a comfortable 324g per pair. The pedal system is constructed using a mix of durable materials such as forged scm435 chromoly steel for the spindle, 300 series stainless steel for the spring, a stamped steel wing and a machined aluminium body.

Fear not as your Candy2 pedal can be personalised with the Crankbrothers tread contact sleeves (CRB-13282) to ensure an optimal fit. As the tread wears down, these three different thicknesses shims enable you to maintain a good contact between your shoes and the pedal axle.

Like all Crankbrothers products, the Candy2 pedals are fully maintainable using the level 1 / 2 service kit (product code CRB-11729). Regular servicing requires only basic tools such as a flat-head screwdriver, socket wrench and an 8mm Allen key. We recommend cleaning and greasing the pedal every 30 hours of riding to ensure the bearings are regularly inspected for wear.
